COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY Level 3
At Dargaville Ford, the safety of both our staff and Customers throughout this Covid-19 pandemic is very important, therefore we will implement the following policies to keep everyone safe throughout this challenging time.
SERVICE CENTRE
As stated, we will be taking all measures to keep a safe distance between customers and our staff, so unfortunately we will not shake hands at this time. On arrival at Dealership you will be assigned to designated car parking area and meet by a Staff member who will give you instructions on Covid-19 procedure.
ONLINE ENQUIRY PROCESS
Where possible, Dargaville Ford will endeavour to perform business remotely as always, and will offer the same services as usual.
Freight services to all of NZ still remain (Please talk to our staff for a freight cost).
All paperwork can be emailed for signing, including finance documents. Online finance approvals still available through our website here.
ENQUIRY PROCESS IN PERSON
At Dargaville Ford, we understand purchasing a vehicle for most will be a very large and important decision, therefore viewing and test driving the vehicle of interest will be an important stage in this process. In the event you wish to visit our site at 54 Normanby Street Dargaville we would like to inform you of the measures we will be undertaking to keep both our staff and customers safe.
Please do not enter our premise in the event you have any symptoms related to the Coronavirus.
All of our vehicles for sale will be cleaned with disinfectant before and after every test drive.
All of our yard vehicles will be locked to avoid unidentified individuals entering cleaned vehicles.
The Office front door will be locked, and customers will be served individually at a safe distance. Please make staff aware if you require assistance.
Test drive bookings through our website where possible are preferred, just simply click on a vehicle you are interested and then click the “Book Test Drive” tab. We will confirm the booking in a prompt fashion.
Gloves will be available for all test drives, please ask our staff if you require these.
All staff will continually sanitise and wash hands (minimum 20 seconds),
In the event a trade in vehicle is appraised, and a road test is required, our staff will wear fresh gloves, and sanitise areas of the vehicle.
All paperwork will be conducted in in a controlled area, at a minimum 2-metre gap. Fresh disposable pens will be used for all signing of paperwork.
SOCIAL DISTANCING AND CONTACT TRACING
As stated, we will be taking all measures to keep a safe distance between customers and our staff, so unfortunately we will not shake hands at this time.
To keep everyone safe, we will be running a daily log to trace all contacts throughout each day. We appreciate your understanding, as this will log will be very helpful in the event a confirmed case is linked to our business.
