Covid-19 Update
Here at Dunedin City Motors & Central Lakes Automotive the safety of our customers and staff is paramount.
As such we're doing our utmost to safeguard our dealerships with respect to the concerns around Covid-19.
Although our dealership is not open for normal business, we are offering contactless servicing and test drives for our clients.
- We have pick up and drop off options for vehicles that need to be booked in for servicing.
- We have implemented thorough cleaning of common touchpoints in all customer cars and demonstrators.
Please note, during this period we will not be accepting cash as payment. We would also appreciate payment of invoices on the day of repair. We will be accepting phone, internet and EFTPOS payments.

We continue to listen to the relevant authorities for all guidelines and acts of best practice and will keep you all updated as we move through this unprecedented time.
Some requirements we already have in place are:
- Stricter cleaning and sanitation of all dealership and vehicle touch-points. This includes keeping cleaning logs of all vehicles serviced and/or test-driven.
- The use of approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) whilst working on your vehicle.
- Maintaining social distancing amongst our dealership teams when they are at work
- Clearly documented and distributed policies and guidelines for staff to adhere to.
- Collecting contact details from all visitors to our dealership sites to ensure that we comply with contact tracing guidelines, including the storage of that information in a centralised contact register.
