Team Hutchinson Ford are proud to be sponsoring 17 year old Bree Morris in the upcoming NZ Formula Ford Festival at Mike Pero Motorsport Park, Ruapuna (Saturday 1 May 2021).

My name is Bree Morris. I’m 17 years old, and grew up in Auckland on the North Shore.

I’ve been around racing since I was a new born, as my Dad worked on the midgets at the raceway – so racing has been in my blood for a long time.

I started racing karts when I was 9 years old and moved out of karts to race Formula for the first time in 2019, then last year in 2020 I started my first season in Formula Fords.

A lot of my family and friends are drivers, or are involved in racing and back when I was 9, our family friends came out with me to ‘Have a go Day’ out at Kartsport Mt Wellington, and that was when it all started.

My goals for the future are to hopefully get to TRS in the next couple of seasons in Formula Ford, but for now I would love to finish higher up on the grid for the National Series next season in Formula Fords.

My hopes for this coming weekend at the NZ Formula Ford Festivalis to do the very best my team and I can do, finish all 3 races especially the 18 lap race at the end of the day. 

I’m super excited to get back out on the track down in the South Island with the Motorsport Solutions Team.
